The Most Inexpensive Gym Tool You’re Probably Not Using

In a previous post I wrote about the importance of PROGRESSION — making your workouts gradually harder over time.

Basically, you’re trying to set new personal records in the gym on a regular basis.

But how do you keep track of your progression? How can you be sure of what you did during your last workout so you can beat it the next time?

Keep a workout journal.

You can buy a fancy workout journal at the bookstore, or just use a notebook. It doesn’t matter. What does matter is that you keep accurate records of what you do so you can surpass your previous efforts.

Don’t trust your memory — write it down.
